Stonewalls

Recovery lost
Hopeless addiction to you
It’s become toxic
Your stone walls poison my heart
Why can’t we communicate?

Friends with benefits
Don’t want a relationship
But how are we friends?
We can’t get close or go out
You’re just borrowing my warmth

I might find some peace
If I could leave you alone
This is killing me
How dare you drink up my love
Without reciprocating
