Transient Crown Cinquain

Inhale
Expand the wound
Imagine oxygen
Rejuvenating the damage
Breathe deep

Believe
It gets better
Manifest inner strength
Although it feels like forever
Time heals

It’s true
This too shall pass
Heartbreak is transient
Seasonal, ephemeral like
Nature

Hold on
Caterpillar
Winter’s temporary
Pain’s a bittersweet chrysalis
Emerge

Trauma
Can catalyze
Great purpose after rest
Dormant doesn’t equal barren
Transmute

Inhale
It gets better
Heartbreak is transient
Pain’s a bittersweet chrysalis
Transmute
