Hidden Surprises

It took years of work
For us to build our dream house
Here in the foothills
Construction is so perfect
You would never guess
We did it all without help
Chopped the wood ourselves
There’s a winter wonderland
In our own back yard
Where we choose our Christmas trees
Amidst snowball fights
Roasting marshmallows for smores
Precious memories
And if the kids get naughty
The location is ideal
For hiding deceased bodies

    1. Haha, thank you, I tried to make it come out of nowhere. I agree, it would be neat to live in a house with such a great view of the mountains πŸ™‚
