Looking Forward to Apathy

Can't wait to feel apathetic 
To forget how sudden, overwhelming 
Panic attacks steal my breath
Flashbacks rip away my peace
It feels inescapable but I've
Survived this before, and will
Heal from these wounds, too
Someday I'll get over you
