Blood red pain for days
But remember feeling green
Before the daggers
Bled our rivers of respect
Bright sky blue to bullshit brown
Not gray forever
Life brightens eventually
Every day you’re gone
Fiery gaslight flames burn out
I become my scarlet self
Smoked green before sleep
Painted my nails cherry red
Texted seven men
Spread my heart like purple jam
Now it’s me who won’t commit
